I just finished A Pure Church, and found it a great blessing. I am sure it will be a useful resource for the future.
One particular section struck me greatly. It was in Pastor Sutton's chapter on the heretick from Titus 3. I read from the bottom of page 238 to the end of the chapter with an open mouth.
In his explanation of how the heretic operates, he described with great detail the precise situation our church suffered through 2 years ago… and to my shame I was one of the "simple ones" taken in by the fair speeches initially.
It was good for me to read that verse expounded by someone who knows nothing of our church or its situation, and to find once again the Scriptures are universal.
If you could pass on my encouragement to Pastor Sutton I would appreciate it. Thanks for the labor that went into this work.

Hi Joshua,
Thanks. I think the Titus 3 chapter was Pastor Mallinak, Sutton was Romans 16:17-18. Thanks though. I'll let them both know.
