Part One Part Two Part Three Part Four Part Five
Anti-Israel Faction in America First
A large faction of the America First or MAGA movement does not like the nation Israel. I would contend that it is not the largest part, but it is very influential, because it is a younger demographic. My concern over this reality relates to the underlying basis of the dislike more than its skepticism with the policies and actions of modern Israel.
Someone should judge the administration of Israel according to biblical principles, deciding on good wisdom whether it operates in the best interest of the United States. Israel’s present rejection of the true, scriptural Messiah, which shouldn’t surprise anyone even based upon the prophetic passages of the Bible, does result in some bad government. Israel is lost spiritually, but so is the United States and this isn’t because of Israel.
Comparison of Israel with the United States
Just as example, according to the most recent polls, 51% of Israelis support abortion and 52% advocate same-sex marriage. In comparison, the United States supports abortion rights now at 64% and 68% for same-sex marriage. The United States leans more left than Israel does. According to Gallup, in overall ideology, Israel is 13% left, 27% center, and 60% right, while the United States is 28% liberal, 36% moderate, and 36% conservative. This tilt includes social issues and economic ones. 57% of Americans desire a larger government role in the economy and in Israel that is 42%.
No doubt, Israel has what it thinks are its own best interests in view and perhaps more than the United States does for itself. The latter isn’t the result of the Jews, but because of a leftist globalist agenda. Israel doesn’t tend towards that kind of position, because the globe as a whole doesn’t support Israel. Israel is very dependent on the United States, even in its influence in gaining further support for Israel from others. I sympathize with Israel and its desire to survive against a worldwide lack of support that seems easily to get weaker.
Tucker Carlson Dislike of Christian Zionists
“Destruction of a Christian Church”
Tucker Carlson first said Israel is not God’s chosen people. And he also says that some kind of present scriptural Zionism is heresy. In the last few days, he said he dislikes Christian Zionists more than anyone, before retracting that a few days later with an extremely weak apology. When he explained why he said that he dislikes all Christian Zionists, he said he was angry because Israel destroyed a Christian church and then an unnamed prominent Christian Zionist acted like it didn’t matter.
I looked into Israel’s destruction of a Christian church, something I remember hearing. This is from Grok:
On October 19, 2023, an Israeli airstrike hit the compound of the Greek Orthodox Church of Saint Porphyrius in Gaza City—the world’s third-oldest church, dating to the 5th century and a refuge for around 500 Palestinian Christians and others at the time. The attack killed at least 18 people sheltering there (mostly Christians) and caused significant structural damage, including the collapse of an annex building and parts of the main church edifice.
Palestinian Christians
The Christian population in Gaza is estimated at one thousand people. It’s tiny. Israel’s military stated the strike targeted a nearby Hamas command center and was not intended for the church, attributing any deviation to “operational circumstances.” Tucker says that Israel did it on purpose, because the technology of the Israel Defense Forces is such that it can always avoid this type of action. He offered zero proof for this theory, which is typical of him. So, Tucker told Nick Fuentes in an interview that he disliked all Christian Zionists because Israel destroyed a Christian church, saying this to justify popping off like he did.
Less than one percent of the state of Palestine professes Christianity, which does not mean that they receive the true gospel, a biblical definition of a Christian. 50% of these are Greek Orthodox, 30% Melkite Greek Catholic, 10% Latin Roman Catholic, and 6% Armenian Apostolic. The bigger chunk of remaining Christendom includes Maronites, which are Eastern Catholics, and then Lutherans. When I visited Israel and Bethlehem, which is in Palestine, the tour guides were Palestinian Christians of these types. They cooperated with Israel to have this work, but they hated Israel.
Between Replacement Theology and Christian Zionism
Carlson for Replacement Theology
The standard position of Christian denominations on Israel, which are identical to Tucker, is replacement theology. He considers the belief that God’s unilateral covenant with Israel is heresy and this in contrast to replacement theology, that the church (whatever that is), entirely replaced Israel. Ted Cruz showed that he doesn’t understand the Bible, which is sad, but I’ve never heard Tucker defend with scripture his replacement theology either. I wouldn’t expect it from someone who says he accidentally spouted out that he hated all Christian Zionists, because he was mad about something. He didn’t mean it though.
I don’t believe that Tucker Carlson’s explanation of his positions is any better than most that are like him in his approach to Israel. It is unlikely that Nick Fuentes would open his Bible to authenticate his beliefs either. I saw a reel of a true Christian walking around and interviewing students on a state campus, asking them to name a book of the Bible. Few of them could. If they can say anything substantial, it might be the Jewish banking family, the Rothchilds, funded Scofield’s Reference Bible to foist Christian Zionism on America.
Premillennialism and Dispensationalism Today
Almost never do I see a Scofield Reference Bible anymore. I see almost no Christian bookstores, but if I do, they don’t carry Scofield. People who do continue to publish reference Bibles are mostly dispensational. Three of the top four selling reference Bibles, none of which are Scofield, are premillennial and dispensational, which is a literal, grammatical-historical interpretation of scripture. Generally people who want to study the Bible are interested in those as their reference Bible. They want notes that take the text of scripture seriously.
The outstanding preachers on Christian radio are almost all premillennial and dispensational, or Christian Zionists. Millions of people listen to them, such as John MacArthur, Alistair Begg, J. Vernon McGee, Adrian Rogers, Chuck Swindoll, Chuck Smith, Charles Stanley, and David Jeremiah. Charles Stanley is listened to by 115 million weekly. Christian Zionists overwhelmingly are those who Christians hear on the radio. Is this a Rothschild conspiracy? Are Jews banking American evangelicals to say the things they’ve preached their whole lives? I don’t think so. It’s an absolutely crazy proposition.
Third Argument Against Christian Zionism
Israelite Manipulation of the U. S.?
All of the former being said, I want to address what I see as the third argument of Tucker against Christian Zionism. None of these are biblical arguments, but the third of them is Israel manipulating the United States into funding foreign wars and sending American youth to their death in these conflicts. These actions, which are hated by Carlson, do not overturn what the Bible says about Israel. They speak of a grand conspiracy organized by the government of Israel that proceeds from Christian Zionism and are even the reason for Christian Zionism. Therefore, one must reject Christian Zionism.
Christian Zionism does not suppose fighting in Afghanistan, Iraq, and then bombing Iran. Tucker says that John Bolton is a Christian Zionist. I’ve never much liked John Bolton. I jumped on the Trump train in 2015. Everyone reading here knows that. I was pro-Trump before Tucker or Fuentes. I did not like Reagan’s choice of George H.W. Bush as Vice President and was always leery of George W. Bush. I just thought the latter was better than Al Gore, like holding my nose for McCain and Romney against Obama.
Globalism Instead
In his campaign for President, George W. Bush said he was against “nation-building.” That helped him win. Then he nation built like almost no one in history. The Democrats were jealous of all the globalism Bush did. This is not Christian Zionism. Christian Zionists are against globalism. They are generally nationalists and are the biggest supporters of Trump. I don’t see Bush or Bolton, any of the neocons as Christian Zionists. Bush pals around with Clinton and Obama and hates Trump.
Christian Zionists support the nation Israel. It is a nation. They like the boundaries between nations as a buffer against globalism. Globalism is the Antichrist and a one world government and religion. Moslems want Islam to control the world in a whole world state religion. Look what’s happening in Europe today. God formed nations. He will destroy globalism, worldwide political and religious Babylon (Revelation 17-18), like He discontinued the Tower of Babel in Genesis 11.
Maybe Another More Likely Conspiracy
Common Thread of Roman Catholicism
It’s true that some, certain Jews support globalism, what I consider as self-loathing and deceived Jews. They influence the American left, who wants to tear down America. By attacking Christian Zionism, Tucker, Fuentes, and Candace Owens are doing more than anyone on the right to play into the hands of the leftists. They are very happy about what’s happening. If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would say that the conspiracy is the destruction of the right by these under the influence of poisonous ideas fomented by the left.
There is globalist and ecumenical religion, that wants to include all religion. A common thread is a catholic church, all of the religion that spawns from Roman Catholicism. Roman Catholicism is not Christianity. When you look at the main characters, they are either Roman Catholic or something spawned by state religion. Why are no evangelicals, no premillennialists or dispensationalists sitting on our Supreme Court? Replacement Theology is heresy. It came from Roman Catholicism and was then supported by state church Protestants like Luther.
The United States never voted for a Roman Catholic President until Kennedy. Who was next? Biden. Who else is Roman Catholic? Nancy Pelosi, and now we see J. D. Vance and Marco Rubio, both Roman Catholic. Tucker’s son is Communications Director for J. D. Vance. Buckley Carlson was raised by Tucker in the Episcopal Church. The Episcopal Church (formally known as the Protestant Episcopal Church in the United States of America, or TEC) is the autonomous member church of the Anglican Communion representing the United States. This is an international fellowship of 42 self-governing churches (called “provinces”) in communion with the Archbishop of Canterbury.
Israel or Roman Catholicism?
Steve Bannon, Nick Fuentes, and Candace Owens are all Roman Catholic. Tucker and Buckley Carlson are Episcopal,. Matt Gaetz is Roman Catholic, attending Catholic high school. Could the conspiracy be a state church, or Roman Catholic caused, anti-Israel viewpoint? The United States historically was suspect of Roman Catholicism, turning the Pope into the Catholic head of the United States. Kennedy had to promise he would not just obey the Pope in U. S. policy.
I don’t want the United States governed by Israel, but I also don’t want it governed by Roman Catholicism. I like the idea of a Christian nation, which would proceed from a literal, grammatical-approach to scripture. This would start with true conversion. This is not unsaved Roman Catholics, and the religions in cahoots with Roman Catholicism, which preach a false gospel. Many evangelicals point to the Roman Catholic Church as a central player in a deceptive, ecumenical one-world religion under the Antichrist. These see the harlot of Babylon in Revelation 17 as an apostate, ecumenical Christianity heavily influenced by or centered on Roman Catholicism.
Replacement theology dovetails nicely with a final form of apostate Christendom, centered in Rome, which will unite all religions under its banner. Vatican-led ecumenism (e.g., with Islam and Protestant groups) foreshadows the prophecy of Revelation 17, a unified, apostate religious system that will temporarily ally with the Antichrist to deceive the world before being destroyed by him. This system will oppose and try to destroy the nation Israel.
