The Real Dovetailing of Future Antichrist Agenda and World Power Now

PART FOUR

Separation of Powers

Whom we call the founding fathers of the United States designed into the government checks and balances and separation of powers.  They also formed a system of federalism that divided power between the states and the federal government.  Their understanding of man’s sin nature grounded their desire to limit the concentration of power in one entity.  James Madison, the Father of the Constitution, in Federalist 51 wrote:

If men were angels, no government would be necessary. If angels were to govern men, neither external nor internal controls on government would be necessary. In framing a government which is to be administered by men over men, the great difficulty lies in this: you must first enable the government to control the governed; and in the next place oblige it to control itself.

The states could impede the nation and one branch could obstruct another in the tendency of consolidating power.  Even within the legislative branch, the Senate could thwart the House of Representatives and vice versa.

Private Property Ownership

God founded private property ownership.  Even though He owns everything, He designed the concept of ownership itself.  When Israel entered the land, God divided up the property among twelve tribes.  Then among the tribes, families received their own pieces.  God also established with laws rights of private property.

Dividing land by boundaries could separate and check evil.  You can see this in the concept of landmarks in the Old Testament.  Proverbs 22:28 says:

Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

Fathers set these landmarks, which is a smaller governing unit.  Under fathers were sons and grandsons.  Bigger than fathers were clans and larger than clans were tribes.

You probably notice how that globalists attack the family unit.  When Hillary Clinton said, “It takes a village,” she sees the elimination of basic separation.  Heavy taxation inclines toward government ownership of property.  You hear this in a statement, like President Obama famously said, “You didn’t build that.”  The government has ownership of what it contributed toward building.

Globalist Agenda

Public Education

The fathers of public education, Horace Mann and John Dewey, saw educational reform an efficient mechanism for social control.  Public education standardized curricula and centralized the disbursement of funds.  It restricted competition.  Public schools seized on the influence of making children wards of the state.  Education then became a department of the executive branch of the federal government.

Common Language

Nations have languages.  God confused the languages at Babel to cause separation.  The United States is an English speaking country.  Requiring English represses globalism.

Obscure Sex or Gender

In a rudimentary way, obscuring differences in gender eliminates a significant substructure of separation.  On the way to one world is one sex or gender.  Each sex has a role and eradicating those roles also erases a God-ordained boundary.

Common Currency and Free Trade

On a larger scale than federalism and the separation of powers, nationalism checks globalism.  The elimination of borders portends the loss of God-designed natural separation.  Even if it is not physical boundaries like the line between the United States and Mexico, it is economic ones like separate currencies and cultural ones like unique ways of life based on founding principles.

Jesus said in the Sermon on the Mount (Matthew 6:21), “For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”  Globalists pour their efforts into a life of physical things.  They are materialists who prioritize the natural universe and the planet.  Most of them don’t care about national boundaries.  They don’t want separation of powers.

National boundaries prevent greater wealth.  Globalists don’t want trade protectionism and economic isolationism.  They want unfettered ability to have and take.   Free trade means buying and selling across borders with little to no intervention or inhibition.  Worldwide companies grow more powerful making it more difficult for solely national, state, and local businesses to compete.  Fewer companies control more until only a few men can control everything, like an Antichrist and his handpicked, loyal subordinates.

To gain more power and stay in power, globalists gladly offer limited security to the masses.  They market protection and a very basic quality of life.  Adherents trade freedom and opportunity for safety.  Greedy globalists also play on greed by offering a certain stipend and free education and healthcare.  Without compliance, occupants or residents lose privileges and finally life.

Censorship

To keep safety and security means control of communication.  Censorship becomes the rule with few exceptions.  Censorship says “no” to preaching the gospel.   Jesus said the truth shall set you free indeed.  The Antichrist will round up and destroy those speaking the truth.

Antichrist Versus Christ

The human leader of a future one world government is the Antichrist.  He’s called the Antichrist (1 John 2:18).  In that way, he has something in common with Christ.  Christ will rule the world.  The Antichrist wants this just as the power behind him, Satan, wants this.  Globalism fails because of sin.

On the other hand, Christ saves from sin.  He brings world peace.  Everyone lives in harmony one with another with safety and security.  However, the kingdom of Jesus Christ on earth comes only through Christ, not the Antichrist.  Until Jesus sets up His kingdom on the earth, all globalism rebels against His plan.

PART TWO

Globalism and God’s Opposition

As you open to the first chapter of the Bible and then read it to its last book, you see God’s opposition to globalism.  On the other hand, Satan’s plan as the prince of this world is bringing the world system into a cohesive, homogenous whole.  These two ideas combat each other in the Bible and so world history as part of the conflict of the ages between God and Satan.

Early, Satan could think he’s got all of mankind against God.  Adam and Eve take his bait in the garden.  God says in essence, Not so fast.  But everything is ruined by Genesis 3.  It was two people, a small group, but Satan angled for their alignment with him against God.

Biblical, Historical Markers

Some simple historical markers against globalism are (1) the confusion of languages at the tower of Babel.  Before the global flood (Genesis 6-9), mankind banded together and only eight people stood against that.  On the other side of the flood, the same situation began to repeat at the tower of Babel (Genesis 11:1-9), so God confused the languages.  In line with this outcome is the statement in Genesis 10:25, “And unto Eber were born two sons: the name of one was Peleg; for in his days was the earth divided.”

Another perhaps less considered aspect of God ordained division on the earth is (2) the reality and history of plate tectonics.  Biblical evidence shows that all the land was once connected (Genesis 1:9).  Both secular and Christian geologists agree that what are several continents look to fit like a jig-saw puzzle.  At one time these several continents were one big continent.  These divisions of land provide natural separations that long time impeded globalism.

Acts 17:26 reveals that (3) God founded nations on the earth:

And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;

Rise, Fall of Nations and Boundaries

God determined the rise and fall of nations and the boundaries where they would live.  After man’s fall, God intended boundaries that separated men from one another.  Genesis 10 records the first ever table of nations that chronicles the fulfillment of God having done this.  Genesis 10:5 says:

By these were the isles of the Gentiles divided in their lands; every one after his tongue, after their families, in their nations.

God also started the separate nation Israel (2 Samuel 7:23):

And what one nation in the earth is like thy people, even like Israel, whom God went to redeem for a people to himself, and to make him a name, and to do for you great things and terrible, for thy land, before thy people, which thou redeemedst to thee from Egypt, from the nations and their gods?

Genesis 18:18 says:

Seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

Each nation functions under the following axiomatic truth expressed by God in Psalm 33:12:

Blessed is the nation whose God is the LORD; and the people whom he hath chosen for his own inheritance.

Globalism Ends the World

First World and the Next

Just like the first world ended with globalism, the next world will end with globalism.  The Book of Revelation calls the Antichrist, the final one world leader in opposition to God, “the Beast.”  Revelation 13:3 says about that world:

And I saw one of his heads as it were wounded to death; and his deadly wound was healed: and all the world wondered after the beast.

He will draw the whole world together around him and his and Satan’s plan.  Revelation 13:8 continues:

And all that dwell upon the earth shall worship him,, whose names are not written in the book of life of the Lamb slain from the foundation of the world.

Satan Wants Globalism

Concerning Satan’s part in this, Revelation 12:9 says:

And the great dragon was cast out, that old serpent, called the Devil, and Satan, which deceiveth the whole world: he was cast out into the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

He will deceive the whole world.

The hunger and thirst for globalism dovetails with the purpose of Satan and the future Antichrist.  One of the ways the Antichrist can succeed at this complete cohesion and convergence of the whole world is by controlling everything economic.  Revelation 13:17 says:

And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

Eliminating Boundaries to Globalism

This requires a common currency, probably a digital one in a cashless society.  Anyone who will not succumb to globalism under the Antichrist will not buy or sell.  More than ever economy exists across national boundaries.  Whatever you may say about the United States relationship with China, much of what you buy probably still comes from there.

The globalists oppose nationalism.  They continue to strive to break down the boundaries and barriers.  This occurs through the media, communication, and finance.  The state schools teach this globalist agenda.

Social media eliminates boundaries and crisscrosses the world.  Companies are worldwide.  Just three companies, Amazon, Alphabet, and Meta, control half of the advertising market and revenue for the whole world.   Five Big Tech companies dominate business, adding to the previous three, Apple and Microsoft.  The five account for 25% of the entire S & P 500.  Like Big Tech dominates, just three companies dominate investment banking:  Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, and J. P. Morgan.

Almost every religious denomination now reduces doctrine and practice to its lowest common denominator, endeavoring to diminish the differences that divide.  Whatever does differentiate is minimized.  Agree to disagree.

Rather than have biblical doctrine guide people, it’s instead a common experience.  Church growth depends more on relationships and shared activities.

More to Come

Local Only Ecclesiology and Historical Theology

My graduate school required a large amount of theology, which included the branch of historical theology.  Before I took the class, I must admit, I had not thought much about the category.  I know men introduced historical theology to me at different times and varied manners in other classes, but it became important to me at that time between the ages of 22 and 25 years.  Now when I listen to a presentation of a position, I want to hear its history for good and biblical reasons.

I know I’m writing on this subject because of an article I read today (as I first write this), called, “Five Reasons Historical Theology Is Necessary for the Local Church.”  The man who wrote it is not local church.  I would point out to you, if someone uses “local church” language, he may believe in two churches, universal and local, rather than the biblical one church, which is local only.  However, churches need historical theology.  They need to know that churches always believed what they believed, because it is the truth.  Caleb Lenard in the article gives good reasons.

Examples for Historical Theology

A strong argument for perfect preservation of scripture in the original languages comes from historical theology.  Christians believed this doctrine, as read in historical confessions of faith.  In a theological way, no one has yet upended that position on preservation.  Since this is what Christians have believed, you could call a change, heresy.  A new position on the preservation of scripture diverges off the already established belief.

Sometimes I hear the language, “the reformed doctrine of justification.”  Did the doctrine of justification originate with the Protestant Reformation?  I don’t believe that.  Maybe they dusted it off or took it out of the trash bin, but men kept believing it or else no one was saved not long after the advent of the Roman Catholic Church.

Is local only ecclesiology also historical theology?  Christians do not have to prove that a majority of believers received and propagated local only ecclesiology.  If it is true, scriptural doctrine, then believers should reveal its history, tell the historical story of local only ecclesiology.  It is also helpful to show how that other ecclesiology diverged from the path of truth, if local only ecclesiology is true.

Historical Ecclesiology

I would like those with a different ecclesiology to consider the historical problem of a catholic ecclesiology and the bad consequences too.  Roman Catholicism affected corrupt thinking on the doctrine of justification and many other doctrines.  That did not disconnect with Roman Catholic ecclesiology.  Correcting justification and not rectifying the other corrupted doctrines still leaves churches with much bad doctrine.  This dishonors God and hurts many people.

Men often will not say, perhaps because they don’t know, that their doctrine is Roman Catholic.  They don’t teach the false gospel of Roman Catholicism, but they teach other false doctrines.  Those false doctrines lead back to a false gospel.  One Roman Catholic doctrine accepted is the Roman Catholic doctrine of the church.  Catholic church is universal church.  That ecclesiology, a false one, spread in a widespread way to Christians.

Some of you reading right now are nodding your head, “no.”  Back and forth, maybe smirking, rolling the eyes.  Maybe.  Just think about it though.  Did you get your ecclesiology from Roman Catholicism?  What kind of effect does that have for your life, others’ lives, and for all the other doctrines?

On the other hand, did I get my ecclesiology from mid 19th century landmarkists (see this series, and this one)?  Everyone had believed in catholic ecclesiology (just like they denied justification before) up to that point.  Local only ecclesiology then arose as a knee jerk reaction from J. R. Graves and Baptists in America.  They didn’t like the ecumenism spreading among Southern Baptists, so they invented the local only position to combat it.  Is that what happened instead?  What is it about Baptists that made them in particular prey in a widespread way to a teaching that the church was only local, never universal?

Catholic Ecclesiology

I wouldn’t believe the local only position if I thought it originated among 19th century Baptists in America.  Instead, I believe that looking in the Bible and also tracing history of doctrine supports something different.  The universal church view grew from seeds of neo-platonism previous to Constantine and took hold as the predominant ecclesiology only with the state church in the 4th century.  The Catholic Church persecuted churches separate from the state church.  Those churches existed and they believed the church was local, not universal.

A platonic system of theology, Origen’s allegorical or spiritualizing system, affected everything in the Roman Catholic Church.  Sprinkling of infants proceeded from this.  A corrupt human priesthood arose.  Amillennialism, the view that the kingdom was the Roman Catholic Church, took hold.  Hierarchical church government became the norm.  Tradition took prominence.  The Pope.  Transubstantiation.

Roman Catholicism and universal ecclesiology led to the dark ages.  It caused regression or glacially slow progress in measurements of living standards.  Most people stayed stupid for a long time because of Roman Catholic ecclesiology now embraced by many professing Christians.  Satan used it greatly.  The Protestant Reformation did not correct all that Roman Catholicism ruined.  It embraced or absorbed Roman Catholic ecclesiology and eschatology with few exceptions.

Consequential Regression

Byproduct of Roman Catholic Ecclesiology

Even if there is notable minute progress to which someone might point in correct thinking about issues of life, it is an exception.  It is usually a few bright spots mixed into still astounding darkness.  Useful scientific discovery overall, subduing and having dominion, came to a stop for over a thousand years because of Roman Catholicism.  Wherever it spread, such as Central and South America, left its destructive nature.

Everywhere the Roman Catholic Church took hold still continues a worse place to live because of its influence.  It is a byproduct of Roman Catholic ecclesiology, that can’t be separated from its system of interpretation.  As I say that, anticipating this argument, I understand that forms of paganism like animism also left the culture in ruins.  It wasn’t much worse than Roman Catholicism, and I compare the consequences to biblical Christianity in contrast.

Still today people think “Christian” means Roman Catholic.  Evangelicalism is a branch off a Catholic root in the mind of the general population.  Every Christian then becomes responsible for the crusades, the inquisition, the conquistadores, feudalism, a flat earth, religious wars, and widespread poverty.

Once the hold of Roman Catholicism was broken, including Catholic state church ideology, the freedom brought astounding progress.  People don’t trace that to ecclesiology or even talk about it in history classes, but it is true.  When Warren Buffet says that John Rockefeller did not live as well as Buffet’s middle class neighbors, this relates to progress arising from the downfall of a state church.

Wreaking Havoc

The ecclesiology of Roman Catholicism, however, still continues, reeking its havoc everywhere.  Globalism itself and its damage comes from Roman Catholic ecclesiology.  It is a utopian, universalist concept, that first existed in Roman Catholicism.  It stems from the mystical, spiritualistic, and allegorical system of Roman Catholicism.

A religious grounding from the system of Roman Catholicism continues in leftist thinking, which spreads utopian thinking, exerting power over individuals.  It has the capacity to return the world to neo-feudalism and another dark age.  None of this is true. The trajectory of the American colonies and the first one hundred fifty years of American history changed the world by overturning the influence of universal church doctrine.  A nation begins to suffer as it welcomes it back.

I have written about the founding of catholic ecclesiology, the universal church doctrine, many times here (here, here, here, here, and here among other places).  I have also written about the history and biblical doctrine of local only ecclesiology, offering that position (here, here, here, here, here, here, here, and see these two on English separatism–here and here).

Because of the dominance of a universal church through history through the Roman Catholic Church, in comparison not much local only material exists.  The winners told the story.  They could destroy anything that countered their viewpoint.  You hopefully know the same practice occurs today in almost every institution.  Some call the falsehoods, fake news.  It is revisionist history based on a system of interpretation similar to what hatched Roman Catholicism.

Signs of the Times?

I believe in imminency, which means Christ could return any moment.  That’s enough for me to be as ready as I can be ready.  You can’t get more expectant than possibly right now.  However, I believe God allows us to see more to get us even more ready for His appearing.  Any moment is difficult to sustain and everyone reading here knows that.  Are these signs of the times?

In a technical sense, the signs of the times are all related to the second coming of Jesus Christ, not the rapture.  The sign that Christ’s coming is near is a sign for His return to the earth, not believers being caught up to meet the Lord in the air (1 Thess 4:16-17).  Nothing has to happen on earth for the rapture to occur, no signs needed.  No signs have to occur before the rapture.  So are these events and circumstances  to occur before the catching up of the saints?  Are they signs?

Let me illustrate.  The coronavirus might be at least pestilence-light.  It’s not on the level of what we see in the tribulation period as a sign of the second coming of Christ, but it hearkens to that event.  If this level of disease does what it has done, what will something much worse be like?

For a long time, I have thought that disease would be the factor that starts bringing the whole world together.  It won’t all be together until later, but what we see occurring today could be moving us closer to the final event.  Every country has this common cause of fighting disease.  Physical life takes prominence.  Health becomes more important than national interests.  Citizens show willingness to give up personal autonomy for purposes of safety.  It’s easier to control the many with only a few.

All the forms of media cause people to be more vulnerable to deceit.  Temporal interests become preeminent and break down resistance to lust.  This puts apostasy in the fast lane.  Anyone who knows the Bible can see how evil this world has become.

As a sign during the tribulation, Israel will be saved.  Well, Israel exists now, when it didn’t between 70 and 1948 AD.  The rise of the nation Israel isn’t a sign, but it is an occurrence that makes way for several signs in the future.

We don’t live in an age of signs.  They have occurred in the past during certain periods.  Signs will arise to confirm to the Jewish people that the Messianic age, His kingdom on earth, is soon to come.  These will authenticate another baptism of the Holy Spirit during that future age.

Events and circumstances today remind us of signs which are to come.  They aren’t here yet, but we could say that this increasing knowledge relates to what Daniel prophesied in Daniel 12:4.  Prophetic knowledge will increase as mankind gets closer to the end.
